RESEARCH MISSION

Digital Materials Manufacturing Group (DigiM2) aims to connect the science of novel digital materials with advanced manufacturing processes such as 3D printing to create next-generation macroscopic structures and devices for practical applications such as energy storage and sensing. Research at DigiM2 has three key themes:

  • Manufacturing digital materials across scale

  • Integrating function through digital manufacturing

  • Enabling human interconnectivity through digital data

One of the key research goals of DigiM2 is to achieve electronic devices that are flexible and wearable through digital materials manufacturing. These include flexible energy storage and sensing devices.
